Every child is different, but our baby foods have been tested with hundreds of babies, and generally, they love it. Research shows that the earlier you start feeding certain flavors (even eating them while the baby is still in the womb), the more likely a child will enjoy those flavors later in life.

A child’s palate is very malleable. Traditional wisdom says ginger or curry might be too “bold” or “spicy” for a child, but our direct experience shows us that’s simply not true. When we look at what parents around the world feed their children (hint: not bland food!) we’ve noticed that these children grow up with quite adventurous palates.

In short, we test for heavy metals and make sure that all of our products meet our high standards of safety.  At Kekoa Foods, we understand the concerns regarding the presence of heavy metals in food, especially among parents of young children. 

As noted by experts, it's challenging to entirely eliminate all traces of such elements from the food supply due to their natural presence in the environment. However, we actively take steps to mitigate potential exposure.

We are a 100% USDA organic company, which inherently minimizes the likelihood of harmful chemicals in our products. Our diverse range of ingredients in each product ensures no overreliance on any single ingredient that might contain higher levels of natural contaminants.

To ensure the utmost safety, we submit samples from each batch of our finished products for rigorous testing – including tests for heavy metals. We will only ever release those products that have fully met our stringent safety standards.

After opening a baby food pouch, we recommend refrigerating any unused portion and consuming it within 24 hours to ensure freshness and quality.

Yes, you can gently warm our baby food pouches in a bowl of warm water. Please do not microwave the pouches, as this may cause uneven heating and compromise the quality and safety of the food.

Our baby food pouches have a shelf life of 12-18 months when unopened and stored at room temperature. Be sure to check the expiration date on each pouch to ensure freshness.

Our baby foods are allergy friendly, free from the 9 most common allergens, but we recommend reviewing the ingredients list on each pouch before serving it to your child, especially if they have any known allergies or sensitivities.
